Sedo Traffic

Who can explain this to me:
This is my letter to SEDO but I get no reply.
Can you please explain to me why every day the traffic on a clipcreations.com is getting less and less. Last week traffic was 45 then it went to 40 and today it is 35. How can the traffic figure be adjusted lower and lower every day. Once it had traffic that figure should remain and can only go up is'nt it?

I am not sure I understand your question completely but I will give it a try. Traffic to a parked domain can go up and down. I do not know the domain in question and how it is getting traffic but for example if the domain was used for a developed site will the traffic disappear with time because the content is gone and the visitors have no reason to return. In the end, will you only get new visitors from old back links and related.

If you post the domain and its history will, is it easier to help you.

Your first mistake is parking with Sedo. I would venture a guess that 95%+ domains are better parked elsewhere. If you have questions, pm me and I'll be happy to help you.

I believe you're referring to the monthly average traffic -- this figure is an extrapolated-weighted-average of the traffic. So, if you name starts out with 10 uniques a day it will show 300 for that figure, but can be adjusted downward if subsequent traffic falls below the average value.

Had a look again just now and now the traffic is climbing steadily again. Not bad actually for a newly registered domain.

maybe the sedo parked page links to Britney Spears is putting them off...
