Am I the only one with this problem? I paid for a domain on sedo one week ago and the transaction don't progress at all. In the "Transaction" section I see "Please send us your payment for the domain." but when I click on "Payment Request" it's written "Paid". It is paid indeed!

I sent them a message using the support - contact form, and got no answer yet.

It's slow for everyone, don't worry.
it depends also how quick each party do his action. In your case, maybe the owner hasn't transfered the name yet.

At least they should update the Transaction section to display "Paid" or "Waiting for the other party to transfert the domain" or something!

But as long as the transaction doesn't get cancelled because it takes too much time...

Thanks for the info diddie.

They just had a holiday called XMAS, probably 4/5 days including the weekend- happens every year at almost the same time. :gl:

I have no problem with holidays, but I still don't understand why in one section I can read "Paid" and in the other "Please send us your payment for the domain." :)

Yeah this is the one time of year I think we all need to cut domaining companies some slack. Paypal quoted me at 18-20 days to clear an echeck recently -- things are slow everywhere for everyone :)

Contacting your Sedo rep is the best way to get questions answered. In this case, I'm pretty sure you'll see it updated tomorrow (has happened to me before) but your rep is there if not to keep you up to date with the transaction's progress.

I am also experiencing the same problem. I contacted Sedo rep, and got an automated reply "not in office till January 05" :) it seems we have to wait next year.

it's definitely a busy time for everyone over the holidays, and besides, the slowness can help against fraud.

Shockie makes an excellent point. Sedo takes their time and makes sure the transaction is done correctly and professionally. At Sedoยฎ Perfection Takes Time.
