SEDO questions - Please help

Might send some of my names off to sedo. Do you have to use their escrow service or can you just take paypal if you want? They make a big deal about handling the transfers... Can you just push a domain to the buyer or do you have to go through the transfer with them? I sent Sedo an email but the answers they sent back made NO sense.

Yes you have to use their escrow service but its included in their commission. I have had two transactions with them. In the first case a GoDaddy push - I did a push to their transfer account and then they did a push to the buyers GoDaddy account. In the second case the buyer requested a transfer to a different registrar so I allowed a transfer to the Buyer's registrar. Sedo will give instructions when the domain is sold as to how to proceed. As for payment the Buyer pays Sedo and Sedo pays the seller. They can pay you via PayPal if you want. They use mass pay so their is no PayPal charge on the funds received.

ok here is the process.

a buyer places an amount of money to buy your name.

you can accept the amount, and be happy. or you can send it of to auction.

lets say, you have accept the amount.

once you have accepted the offer, the is a contract.

so, FIRST, sedo will ask the buyer to pay the money TO SEDO. yes the buyer can pay using paypal, credit card... etc

SECOND, once sedo receive the money, your rep will send you an email asking you to push your name to Sedo account.

THIRD, once you have pushed your name, you will then receive the money.

and NO, you cannot directly push to the buyer.
because you are Not supposed to know the buyer.
Both of you are anonymous.
Sedo handles all your transactions.
That is what we call Escrow.
