Hello everyone,

I thought I would inform all of you on this board what has recently happened to me on SEDO so that you can all be careful and spend your money with reliable and professional services, WHICH SEDO IS NOT.

I found a buyer for my domain RakeShare.com I suggest to buyer to use SEDO as the agent for the transaction. Buyer agrees. Bids on my sedo listing and I accept. SEDO states they will take care of getting the money and will inform me when they have it in escrow. They also say that if funds are not received within 7 business days they will do all they can to get the funds.

Well it has been 1 month, no answer from buyer and no answer from SEDO!!!!!!

Guess I am getting tired of all the people on the internet that waste their time and mine. I even told the guy and sedo if he doesn't want it anymore fine, at least release the domain so I can sell it to someone else....nope still shows buyer found waiting for funds.

ITS A JOKE!!!!

Well sorry in advance, I know I will probably get flamed but I had to vent my frustrations and I picked this forum.

Thanks for reading and I hope SEDO loses some customers because of this post at least it will not have been for nothing.

Nothing wrong in venting...

I hear your frustration as my last 3 sales have gone bad including a mid/high XXX one. I keep stating that sedo needs to adopt a 10-20% down payment to show that a buyer is genuine. It would save the sellers time as well as Sedo's. Until this happens sellers will keep having these "bogus" sales.

You say that 1 month has passed?
Then call Joe and request to cancel the sale - after 7 days it's your decision to cancel the sale.

That is your decision to make and you're in your right to make such a request.

It's really up to you, your domain is not hold hostage or something ;)

Yeah, phone them - they probably won't answer if you send an email :|

They had me waiting about 2 months once before they agreed to cancel the sale due to a non payer.

my experience at sedo .. 2sales=2fails , i told them to go make love to themselves !!

I also have some trouble with my sale and I usually call them for the problem and that's the fastest way to solve sales issue.
