I have a domain (reviewwebsites.com) whitch I have been told by other members should fetch $xxx, I just started to market it aggressively yesterday, I put it in my sig, posted about it where I could, listed it at tdnam, put a for sale landing page up, hired andy (bargaindomains) to broker it and it was already at sedo.

my questions are...

is a sedo homepage featured listing worth the $39?

should I sbmit the landing page to search engines (I use web ceo its simple and seems to increase traffic even to parked pages)

what else other manualy contacting end-users? (whitch I would gladly do if someone could help me find email addresses for the major end users I have in mind, amazon.com and yelp.com etc)

can you suggest potential end users (give contact info if possible)

what are some other ways I could get more potential to my domain (espcialy the sedo listing)

thanks in advance,

Kevin

You have asked a lot of great questions.

I don't have all the answers, but can offer one idea you may not have considered. If you want to roll the dice, you might be able to find a buyer willing to push the domain to auction for $60.00.

I am really hoping for alot more (atlest $300-$500 hopefully), but may end up doing that if I don't get a bite.

thanks micro guy.

any others?

Personally I wouldn't use the front page feature unless the domain was in auction with a high bid already. You can get the same exposure by using other methods, eg. blog posts, sending invitations to potential end-users, listing it on "pushtoauction.com" (not sure if thats the right url) and maybe write an article about it and release it etc.

Sedo is mostly crawled each day by domainers and chances of your name being seen by an end-user isn't that high. Domainers will look at each name and only think at reseller pricing... and in the current financial market reseller prices won't be that great!

Hiring a broker was a good move too. Just don't rush it... if you're expecting $300+ for it then pushing it to auction with a $60 bid wouldn't be a great idea. It could end up selling for just that.

Good luck with it though.
