Hello

this is so weird.

i have GAMEDOMAIN.INFO, when i type it in my address bar, it would end up in
www.google.com

I was sure that i changed the NS to ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com

I went to godaddy to check, and yes, it is pointing at ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com

Any ideas of what is happening here???
Thanks

Hi, that's WEIRED :alien: The only thing I can think of is that it has web forwarding set to google ???

Is this a name you just reg'd or did you get it from someone ?

I just regged it...

i notice that there is "english" written below google logo.
Normal google.com doesnot have the word "english" on them.

Weirrrddddd :yell:

Holy S..
i can browse around with it.

http://gamedomain.info/ads/

Wow that's weird. I don't think its masked though because from my experiences with domain masking yourdomain.com/whateever.html wouldn't work

Thats REALLY WEIRD - I can only guess that somehow your domain has been assigned the same numbers as google ???? it also comes up as a sub domain as well ? I would love to know - come on computer techies, give it a shot !! :)

This is kind of stupid to ask of me, but might it have anything to do with that GoDaddy Free Hosting stuff? That's my best and only guess.

COOL! Not wierd, COOL!

It obviously goes to Google.co.uk, hence "English".

Double check your domain forwarding - masked forwarding, that is - it's all I can think of...

Weird. Maybe some new sort of GD parking and partnering with Google? I doubt it. Probably a freak thing.

I still think you have a masked forwarder set up.... let's see a screenshot of your domain management page where it shows us forwarders.

Comes up as fastpark.net for me too that it is forwarded to. Perhaps the nameservers haven't switched everywhere yet since you just regged it. It is still forwarding to Google though. GoDaddy seems to be a bit slower on DNS changes than DomainSite in that regard. If it doesn't work in a day or so, I'd try the change again.

I just changed the NS to fastpark which is Namedrive's NS.

Lets wait for another couple hours.
i will post a screenshot soon.

I took a look in archive and it was previously reg'd, maybe the web forwarding settings were put on by previous owner and for some reason its stuck on ??? :-/

welcome to the twighlight zone ! :alien:

It still goes to google here, but here is another piece of the puzzle. http://gamedomain.info does resolve to the right page (without the / whatever). http://www.gamedomain.info does not.

Have you tried contacting GoDaddy about this? Maybe it's an internal problem on their end.

Both are looking right to me already, still a propagation issue I'd think. The original issue still seems to be a mystery to the exact cause, but it did appear to be a forwarding glitch.

It is now showing the right page, Namedrive parking page.

I think it is a problem with Sedo NS...
