I've never listed a domain on Sedo, but I have KiloGs.com that I want to sell quickly so I can list more of my domains.

It seems that it cost $59 to make a "auction" on there that actually get views.

Can I add a buy out option on it, or is there a way I can get my listings on there seen for cheaper?

Thanks.

Just list it for free with your BIN or am I missing something?

The auction route with Sedo is not worth the listing fee imo.....also views do not guarantee you will get any bids

There are no short cuts......

I'm not sure if anyone here would be interested in paying the end price I want, I just wanted a few hundred but I think it's has potential for over $1-2k, I put the reserve at around $700..

What do you mean? I did list it on Sedo already, it doesn't let me do a "free auction" so I paid..
I think it should be worth it, I don't think I'm asking much..
You started the thread with.....

"I've never listed a domain on Sedo"

What don't you understand?

The auction is a waste of time and money....if your domain is already listed on Sedo it has just as much chance of selling as their crap auction set up......

Pay the fee and found out for yourself....

You can list at BIN (not auction) for free.

If you get an offer, you will have an option to start an auction at that point without cost (you still pay percentage commission of course). The offer is entered as starting big. You have no guarantee that it will sell at more than that one offer, though.

So I could just make an account on a different IP and bid on my domains so that I can get a free start to auction??

NO NO NO NO NO :xf.eek:
You would properly be banned from the platform.
That is totally unethical to in any way bid on any name you are auctioning, for any purpose.

@Clover People bid on and buy their own domain names all the time. I have thought about it and I would consider getting somebody to buy my domain (but not by paying them - that's fraud) in order to raise publicity but only if I had a fully-developed website that could be launched within minutes of the purchase. In that scenario you'd be best off making the transaction at one minute past midnight on Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time Honolulu (GMT-10). This would ensure you have a whole day to launch the website

Note the word "consider". I'd consider many things. I've never done anything like this. Public relations companies formulate fake fails for their clients to get noticed in the media. Books and ticket sales subsequently increase. This sh-t happens every day. Google it.
