Hi everyone,

I have some domains on Sedo and noticed that they rejected my keyword. Here's a an example:

Domain: PokerSD.Com
Keyword: poker

It was rejected. Is it because they know that it's a great keyword and that I can make more money from it than my other domains? I feel that the keyword poker is perfect for my domain name. I have more domains with keywords that they rejected too. It's all strange to me. What good is their service then?

Thanks,
~Mr. Bone88

Are you talking about the word that people can search for and you will get paid? if so then...I think the keyword

poker didnt work becaise there are too many other sites using that word. I may be totall wrong though.

Sedo is just interesting when it comes to keywords. They did the same thing to me, and I eventually had to stick with "casino", even though the site is called pokerpub.info

Sedo is odd... they have a bunch of poker/casino links under this domain... not sure why...

I'm sure that NP had something to do with the keyword being refused. For months we've been telling all callers that "poker" is the perfect keyword to hit $2 a click. Many folks have domains not related at all to poker that it was approved for.

I might suggest trying to resubmit the keyword, as it does fit your domain, and has been a constant performer thus far.

If that doesn't work, try contacting support (Or username "sedocouk" here).

(See note below  )

Best of luck,
Allan :gl:

Yah but the keyword 'validation' takes about 3 days until it finally accepts/works (yellow -> green). If it was instant would be so much easier.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your replies! :D I ended up e-mailing Sedo about the keyword problem and Mara at Sedo replied back and changed the keyword to "Poker" for my domain name. Now all is well. I guess the best thing to do is e-mail them if your keyword is rejected.

Thanks again,
