Prior to this. To circumvent the old Sedo policy of pricing.

Just have a buddy make an offer on your domain like $100 the min.

and then counter with whatever ridiculous price you want like $250,000 or $1 million.

if I remember. Whatever you counter with and if after 7 days negotiations fail. your last counter offer becomes your buy now price.

I remember this happened to a few of my domains. I guess you could check it out for yourself. kinda pointless now I guess.
