I want to place a bid on a domain today, but when I see that *Please note that a 3% express payment fee occurs for amounts over 500 USD/EUR/GBP when using Credit Card, Paypal or Alipay.

I give up because plus this 3% it is over my budget.

Sedo charges a fee of 15% for auction and it still require buyer pay 3% more, what a high fee.

Same processing fees applies at Escrow.com when paying by credit card or paypal. That 3% is what the credit card processor charges them for processing the payment.

There is no processing fees for dan.com.

Good for dan.com. They will absorb that 3% fee from their 9% purchasing fee.

In general, when a company is already charging the Seller heavily, around 15%, I think they should not charge the Buyer at all, to encourage more sales at their platform.

You may send wire to Sedo...
In this case no any additional fee.

Wire fee is usually charged by the Sender's bank only...
Ask your bank about your fee... with many banks it is within $15-20 for wire.

I have send wire to namebright, their bank charge $15 when receive, and sender's bank charge $15-$20.
for domain around $1000 it is about 3%

Strangely...

I remember my incoming wires from Bodis in the past - and my bank didn't charge anything.

When I receive wires from Sedo - I lose 15 EUR only (fee of their Commerzbank).

@Sedo
Does your Commerzbank charge any fee for the incoming international wires (SWIFT)
OR it will be applied "as is" (as it was sent)?
