I'm rationalising my TV portfolio and I'm looking to sell Steam.tv. It's a $500 annual renewal. The value in the name can be to do with carpet cleaning (as in steam cleaning), steam irons, steam baths and saunas ... or of course in steam trains or steam engines (for steam buffs).
The name is currently parked with Bodis and so far in October (19 days) it's generated 286 visits, all genuine key-in traffic. The traffic is growing on a month to month basis.
I want to the name up for auction at Sedo. Is anyone interested in kicking me off at $500? Judging by the lack of forum interest at around the $2000 mark there's every chance a $500 bid may be enough to take it out.
I had hoped to get more than that for it but now I'm willing to let it go for the renewal fee, if need be.
It really is a very good commercial name when you think about it.
