I got a domain bid for a .DE in the Sedo Auction. But I am faced with 3 options, the first one I have ignored. The other two options screenshot have been attached below.

These are the questions I have.

1. I want to set up the auction end time i.e. next Sunday [8 th April]. What should I do?

2. I want to add a description for the domain name, which also should include include other .De listed at Sedo.

3. During the payment time, can I request the buyer to pay 25/35 % via Paypal and the rest through Escrow?

Help is appreciated. This is my first auction for a .DE at Sedo.

sedo auctions

1- I like to make my end time for my auctions in the evening so I accept at the time I want it to finish. I believe you have 5 days to accept an offer and send it to auction so just count the days it would end, from when you "send to auction" and thats how you pick your auction end date.

2- Click on any of your names in "domain managment" and you will see an "edit page". If Im selling a .mobi in auction I will list all my .mobi's for sale here to get extra sales, or .com etc- picture is of my list right now for .info's as I am selling a .info. ALso I am getting about one offer a week doing this.

3- YOur 10% sedo charge pays for transfers so you don't have to worry about transfer costs(eg-paypal/escrow). But keep on them when you see your domain has been transferred as if you don't point this out sometimes it takes them a while to realize and pay you.

**one thing, once a name has been sent to auction you can't use your "edit page" option on it BUT you can change any other domain you have listed and check off the box "Apply this description to all of my domains" so it will change the one on auction also :)

any other questions just pm me, Gary.

What I mean here is, suppose the name final bid is 10,000 and it results in a sale. Can I ask the buyer to pay me 30 % of it via Paypal and the rest transfer it via Escrow?

Which option should I choose from the screenshot, Option 2 or 3, so that I can proceed with the auction ?

Here is my experience on your question I
I want to set up the auction end time i.e. next Sunday [8 th April]. What should I do?

My answer is NO.

I have several Auction on Sedo already. I was also think about the Auction start from the time you send it to Auction. But to my suprising, the Auction Start Time is the Time when you received the offer.

That is really stupid system >:( But I find that is the way Sedo works. At least for my domains which I send to auction after got to Offer.

You have 5 days to make decision: Yes.. But if you decide it on the 3rd day, you actually auction time would be 4 days only, not 7 days anymore

Right, I thought it was 1 week whenever the name goes to the auction.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I think you can no longer edit the domain when it's in auction.
As for split payment I doubt both the buyer & Sedo will agree. For one thing it defeats the purpose of escrow. You should let Sedo handle the transaction for you. You can get your money from Sedo via Paypal (see payment preferences).
They will retain their 10% commission on the sale price anyway.

editing details with sedo for auctions

You cant edit the domain directly once its submitted to auction. BUT you can edit others that are not in auction and hit "Apply this description to all of my domains " and it will change the one on auction as well. I guess its a loophole that still works as of last week.

Thanks Kate for the reply. :)

But I wanted it to add a little %ge to my existing Paypal funds and the rest via Escrow. I thought that I could customise the payment on sales.
