This morning I receive an email from a potential buyer interested in one of my domains. Before contacting me via the whois report, he first typed the url and found it parked at SEDO. He went on to say that his offer was "generous for a domain that sedo gave such mediocre ratings". That confused me of course, because the only thing the listing page shows is the number of visitors to the domain, and to the listing page itself.
Well, not anymore.
A new feature has appeared on the domain's listing page.
When clicking it, the visitor is given the following information.
I have mixed feelings about this. Like most of you, some of my domains have traffic and links, and some don't. The above example is not bad, but not really that good either. A domain with less (or none) traffic would show a bunch of 0's which might appear to some buyers as a negative thing. When selling something, I believe in complete honesty, however I don't necessary want to promote or focus on the weak points. You know what I'm saying?
