Dan for a great Simple design/appealing (What we want ) sellers control interface. Yet to find out if it works for buyers (only been 4 weeks) 120 domains listed

Recently transferred a few (godaddy, due renewal) to Epik (wasted far too much money over the years) again love the interface. looking forward to using/trying the sales platform.

Anything old hand. Sedo etc seems locked in their "We are the only one" - love to see them challenged. Sedo is such hard work even for the experienced Domain seller, Nightmare for domain selling/view control.- and that's from 20 years of experience of domain selling.

Yes, they have been my biggest sales platform (Sedo) but they need awake call. That sellers interface is 'Let me lead you down a dark alley' Then give-up and log-out for Sedos benefit - We don't like giving you ANY encouragement to change anything that isn't our (Sedos) priority

i agree, sedo is antiquated but so well known to buyers, needs a major upgrade

Doesn't it just.

One gets the feeling that it has become a Job-protection circuit. Bit of the old long in the tooth "Don't shake or Stir" Very German or dare I say very British Civil service

I don't think any do much for more exposure than the next and parking limits the potential. Sedo godaddy made most closes overall but can give a lot more exposure when not limited by rules.

I am missing the AI powered automated sales machine of the future. A machine that does everything itself: builds the best lander, finds the best buyer, sells for the best possible price. No humans involved making mistakes.

Until then I prefer a multiple marketplace startegy.

• Afternic as the life-saver with regular sales if your pricing is moderate, e.g. matches Godaddy valuations. However, the listing process is complicated and really dangerous (possible data loss).
• Sedo: I had most of my sales with them since I started domaining. Today the old Lady needs new glasses to better recognize non-serious buyers who won´t pay in the end.
• Uniregistry best working Parking service. Sales depend on the broker you receive by accident for an inquiry/offer. Some are extremely committed and clever, others are not.
  
• Epik cannot judge yet. At first a promising registrar for me, did not find time to test all marketplace details; two inquiries in 3 months though.
  
• DAN cannot judge yet. No lead in 5 weeks, while I parked about 2,000 domains with them which are my weaker ones regarding stats from other marketplaces plus new regs. Listed are all my names for my first complete portfolio overview, most without setting Nameservers, because it´s easy.

I too use almost all the ones mentioned.

In terms of others, I also use the marketplaces at Dynadot, Namecheap and NameSilo. One should not overlook NamePros as a sales platform if you sell wholesale.

One reason to use multiple is that different domains will be better suited to different platforms.

GD, as they have maximum reach and exposure.

Afternic/Sedo, next as they have enough reach as well.

Uniregistry, because of their brokers. They do a decent work on your behalf, even call your lead to try and close the deal.

Epik, have never tried it.

Dan, a big NO-NO for me as their payment processing sucks!

In terms of Amount and number of sales volumes it is Sedo first for me. Next comes Afternic and then Dan. Recently DAN is showing tremendous progress in terms of their sales performance and in fact we get a lot of exposure to our listings.
There are lot of Epik staff present here in NamePros, they should shed some constructive ideas as to how best is Epic Marketplace.

I'm onboard with ALL. When combined, can give good results.

But although my domains are listed with all of them, I see GoDaddy as the only truly domain marketplace among the lot.

Here's some quick thoughts:

Afternic: Handled my first big sale efficiently. Parking is useless. Not a good way to showcase a portfolio.

GoDaddy: Good pricing (with Club), auctions useless for hand reg, landers don't contribute much, good customer service

Dan: Nice to have control over lander, sales message. Logo display (as business cards) useless, traffic so -so

Efty: Marketplace is an outstanding page to showcase my entire portfolio (once I modified my logos). With each domain opening to a sales page I no longer see much value in the landers.

Epik: Still new to me. Seems a bit like a racehorse that will be good after learning more. Prices seem good.

Sedo: Not impressed with the customer service. Agree with others, old interface that needs work.
BUT - I recently did a test with the new landers and had an immediate 3000+% increase across the board. A hockey stick graph. Not all bot traffic. Direct correlation with promotions I try. Being one of the original go to sites probably helps.

What is your pricing strategy? Do you set BIN on Afternic for fast transfer and on other platforms with Best offer or you list with BIN prices on all of these marketplaces?
