Search Engine Typo domain - Low CTR - Suggestions for improvement

I've got a search engine typo domain with a CTR below 3% parked with Sedo.
I would like to try and get this to 20% or higher if possible.

Any suggestions for a keyword other than portal and template to use please?

Also has anyone experience of running their own search and using adsense or similar integrated in.
