I saw Seanad.com wasn't registered.

It has nearly 2 million google search results.

Look who owns the .net and the .org.

Anyone have any idea if I should even contact them about the domain? I mean, it's a generic term.

Any idea? And anyone with an estimate of how much they think it's worth?

Ok, if it is Parliment, they would own it if they wanted it...

it doesn't even make sense to me, so I would be inclined to drop it alltogether.

Yeah, but they have the .net, .org, and .ie .

Why wouldn't they want the .com? I can see how just owning the .ie would be understandable as perhaps the .ie is used more then the .com over there. But then...registering .net and .org? Surely the .com has to be stronger then the .net or .org over there, even if the .ie is number one.

BTW, the .com was previously registered, before they registered the .ie, .net, or .org . They use to just go under just another domain (in which the own the .net and .org extensions too), but they went ahead with these ones too.

So it means Senate in Gaelic ? I don't see a lot of possible uses as it's quite focused. But could be developed into an Irish politics site.
