Now i have been scammed, someone steal a rep member account at DP , he bought a 4 LLLL.COM from me at 370$ , couple of hours and i have been charged back , all domains are with godaddy,
godaddy details:
Brian Gordon
address: 4117 Emeral Dreams Drive
city: Princeton
state: illinois
zip: 61356
phone: 8153039148
email: [email protected]
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=705260
And he scammed many ppl at the same time too , after 15 emails to godaddy, they told me that they consider this matter closed as they won't involve at third party deals,
I don't know why godaddy doesn't care , why not put someone from their stuff at NP and dnf like other companies to solve these prb and not give the scammers any chance :yell:
Thank you :(

We have already taken action here at NamePros. Were asking all members to stay clear of Paypal. It's to easy to get ripped off... :td:

Only conduct business using Escrow or MB.... :imho:

I am sorry m8 that they scammed you.

I was also almost scammed on DP.
Two wellknown members maked offers by pm for some LLLL.com.
Only LLLL.com registered @ GoDaddy and payment with Paypall.
I had a bad feeling and didn't do it.

Now when I look at the profile of both members, I see they are banned.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

Godaddy and PayPal both are very busy people and they will never care about your pain so, you guys must report the crime at Internet Crime Complaint Center

I like Moneybookers and Dynadot better than PayPal and Godaddy.

hi - maybe you're already aware but the whois for BPQF now shows different details (except for the email) ->

tyutyu, tyu [email protected]
popo
tyuu
werwe, 02
Egypt
45345

Looks pretty bogus (though I understand you are also in Egypt - I wonder what angle the scammer has to put contact info pointing to Egypt now too) ...

(If for some reason these are actually valid contact details now please let me know and I'll edit the post! But I suspect it is just more scam BS ...)

Would be interesting to see what else is going on in [email protected] account ... (weak security can cut both ways! But maybe Google would be willing to look into the situation as well, given that their TOS for GMail probably does not support fraudulent activity ...!)

Good luck getting your domains back - I think there are plenty of eyes now watching for these and others!

Why won't you guys say that your godaddy account was hacked and domain transfered/moved away? May be that will wake them up. Don't even mention that it was sold via paypal or anything like that.
I do understand that it's a lie, but hey, if it helps majority to get their domains back then why not ?

Interesting idea - but I'd be surprised if adding more noise to the process helped in this case - easy enough for GoDaddy to verify their own "paperless trail" of email with auth code being sent out etc ... and possibly even IP address logged in from to access the account. So it's not just your GoDaddy account that you would have to claim was hacked, but also your email and even your whole computer. Could quickly get very murky to continue down that path - especially if law enforcement gets involved (which is appropriate for this kind of fraud and theft - I think anything over a certain $$ amount becomes Grand Larceny as far as laws in the USA are concerned. And these transactions are passing through the USA, no matter where the respective parties involved may be located.)

And why should an honest person have to start telling lies to get the problem solved? Just not worth the cognitive dissonance IMO.

And from a more pragmatic perspective - if you have other domains in your GD account, you may be putting access to those at risk as well.

Bottom line may be that be falsely claiming account hackage, the added risk that you yourself may be seen as shady far outweighs any potential short-term benefit. As far as I can tell - I could be wrong ...

Thank you :(

My domain UTEENS.COM was also stolen 2/14 on by a scammer using a stolen DP account with a good iTrader.

The $600. payment was deemed unauthorized by PP + GD couldn't care less since they already got their registration fee.

This can be a hassle for some but it looks like a necessity considering what's been going on over the past month.

Best wishes,
Kimmy
