Good news for all who receive those emails from scammers asking for appraisals or posing as Princes who lost their fortunes and want us to help them, by sending money of course.

This next friday night on ABC tv, 20/20 (USA and Canada), this program will broadcast a visit the reporters did to Nigeria meeting face to face with those criminals.

Now it is funny, we will see them being caught in their own trap.

The Nigerians say they do that because "Americans" are greedy, they even have video clips dancing, singing and poking fun of the people who were caught by their scams. It is almost a way of life for them, hordes of people gathering in cybercafes to enjoy their hobby...

Now, lot's of people will laugh and it will be not them.

Next friday!

:]

Can someone make sure to record it in case we miss it? :)

Get your TV ready!

Program starting in 10 minutes in the east cost or about 2 hours in the pacific coast (I guess)!

And, like PolurNet said, if you have a video-recorder, please record it for us, like me, who does not have a videocassete and his computer has no space in the HD anymore...

Have Fun!

I'd like to see as well. Please let us know if someone has it.

Anyway, I watched and was very nice seeing those scammers being busted.

Here are some of snap shots I took:

- "I'm gonna chopp your money..." - Their famous video clip...

- The reporter in one of the "negotiations"...

- The entrance to their "office"...

- Their cyber cafe where many of the emails we receive come from...

- Being busted!!!

Have some more pics, the best ones. Will upload soon since NP only allow 5 attachments.

Good laughs!

It's about time. I received an email from one of them yesterday. Claims he is in assylum in South Africa and needs to get $20,000,000 out of Nigeria and needs my help. I hope he gets caught too.

Thanks all of you for the reply. Glad you liked.

That TV program will certainly help to reduce the number of those fraudulent emails as many scammers were jailed for some time. However, as gammo just mentioned, some are already back "at work".

Here are a few more pics:

- "Am I a beautiful scammer or not?"

- Being caught

- An impressive stampede of scammers when police were spotted.

- Taken out for a nice meal in jail

- A little gift...

There is more... in the works, next post I include.

Have fun.

I'd like to do that but I don't have a full version nor recorded the program. If anyone have it, please let us know.

Here are more pics:

- "I am just about to get my money...!"

- "I am just about to get my money, too...!"

- More scammers being arrested.

- "I GOT MY MONEY!!!" (well, Monopoly money...)

- Paying their tributes, in a very nice place... See you soon, scammers!!

That is it. Have fun!

Here are the videos directly from ABCNews.com. They do not contain all the images above but you can have an idea:

TIP: If you or anybody that you know receive one email from those Nigerian scammers (the ones that are not in jail for now...) reply to them using an alternative email, for your safety, and include one of the links above.

Maybe they realize it is time to rethink their strategy...

And hopefully ABC has enough bandwith for so many visitors...

Enjoy.

Glad you liked!

I have one more.

This is even scarier. Listen to the slaps in the head of a scammer and the shots from their "partners" outside at the end.
