Not sure why you thought it is a scam in a first place.
It is always good to double check before you post in Warnings and Alerts section.

I've received similar email and reached out to support @Uniregistry

They confirmed to me that the email is genuine, it is not a scam.

    Hi Omar,

The email from Rhys is not a scam email from a fake Uniregistry account. Its 100% legit. Rhys works for me and is based out of our Manchester office. If you need any help or assistance please feel free to contact Rhys or our support team.

    Thanks.

    1) The email looks extremely suspicious in so many ways. I don't regret my Alert.

    2) The email doesn't even have any uniregistry logos or Official format like other Big Registry companies have in ALL their official emails. You should set formats for all the Official Company emails. Looks like your "employee" works on a Home Office basis! lol

    3) Don't put links on emails requesting to log in to your account or change passwords, that's exactly what SCAMMERS DO!!

    4) Everybody knows Uniregistry is not an UK company, and when I saw Manchester, that immediately means Fake Email.

    5) My Outlook email account for some reason classify that email as JUNK/SPAM/SCAM.

    6) Your company and/or employee made the mistake NOT ME.
You learnt your lesson, and you should thank me for giving you this feedback to improve your customer support "official" email communication.

    7) If I don't have any domains on uniregistry its my personal decision, I don't need any kind of pressure or harassment to transfer my domains to uniregistry. THAT WONT HAPPEN NEVER!!

    8) You should talk to your Manchester "employee" and tell him all the mess that HIS email has caused. He should start learning how to send properly company emails and not just home made annoying non sense emails to your customers. This is the main reason big companies lose thousands of customers on a daily basis. BAD Communication, Confusion, Annoying Inefficient customer service, etc.

    Hi Omar,

You make some very valid points that are duly noted - thank you.

For the benefit of the wider audience its probably worth clarifying a couple of points as follows:

    1. The original email did contain the Uniregistry logo in the signature and was in line with the style of email that our support staff send to Uniregistry accounts holders. We also have three office locations - Grand Cayman, Newport Beach, and Manchester, UK.

    2. The reason that we include the links in the email is to help our clients as many companies do. They are not intended to scam anyone.

    3. The office in Manchester currently has c.25 staff including sales, support, development and admin and we are moving to larger offices in the New Year as we continue to grow. You have an open invitation to visit if you are ever in Manchester.

    4. Unfortunately due to the high degree of spam email its very hard to avoid some emails ending up in Junk/Spam/Scam. One of the reasons we don't send 000's of canned emails is to try and avoid this situation and make the interaction a bit more personal.

    5. I am thankful for you giving me this feedback and as previously stated duly noted. We will continue to try our best to improve.

    6. There was never any intent to try and pressure you to transfer any of your names to Uniregistry, just a casual email from support offering to help - no more, no less and I fully respect your position.

    7. We will continue to work to improve the level of service we offer to all of our prospects and clients. Thankfully we get it right more than we get it wrong as evidenced by the message below.

"Thanks for making this process clear, efficient, and professional. And 'Top of the World' class support. Light years ahead of where I was before. Over the next months I will be moving all my domains overs, and I look forward to working with you all, as well."

If anyone in the wider audience would like any help or assistance with their transfers and registrations we would be delighted to hear from you!!

Once again, thank you Omar for the feedback!!

I have a number of domains with Uniregistry brokerage. When I periodically review leads content (buyer-broker communications), some buyer explicitly state "we did not see your earlier email... we did not receive it... IT WAS MARKED AS SPAM). It would be good idea to reconsider how Uniregistry emails are formatted and sent out on the system level. The first logical step would be to immediately stop using trackable click links of constantcontact or similar services, and also eliminate invisible tracking 1x1 pixel images showing whether the email was opened, and all other things that are used (and, in fact, abused) by spammers. What does uniregistry want more - to have advanced stats OR to have sales and customers? I bet the second should be a priority.

I am wondering what, if anything, is Uniregistry doing to have messages from the brokers being delivered to buyers and not marked as spam?

So far, I noticed the following. New template used by brokers: "I wanted to make sure you got my last message. Some of my emails haven't been getting through lately for some reason."
Very true. Response finally sent by the buyer was: "This is the first time I received a message" (saw this earlier today).

    ???

Uniregistry just introduced the third(!) help system, this time under uniregistry dot help, in addition to or combined with uniregistry.com account tickets and/or domainnamesales tickets. I am sorry, but your new system is not working OK. For example, my last follow-up message to a ticket (an easy issue, but not yet resolved) was marked as being written by one David, who I beleive is Uniregistry support team member, not by myself the customer.

    ???
