I cannot transfer to Namecheap because the domain is already there. The transfer to Sav.com is cheaper than renewals at Namecheap.

So you haven't actually tried them? HaHa.

They provide many other payment options. You know as well as I do, if you really wanted to try Sav.com, you could use a debit/credit card or prepaid gift card. And you'd likely benefit from backordering a .com with them for an industry leading $6.95!

True. I assume it has something to do with wanting to get it right, and not release a half-assed product. Still, I agree, they need to get with the times.

If a domain name is registered with Sav.com, you cannot list it, sell it, or process the transaction using Dan. Dan has completely blacklisted any names that are associated with Sav.

This is why I @DAN.COM before.

To be clear, they never clarified why, just that was big and bad from Dan’s perspective. I dont intend to speak for any CEO of a nice product, with nice domain (Dan) just thing still vague.

I'm not entirely sure why or if it's been discussed specifically, but Dan strongly suggested that Sav has been acting poorly. I know there was some animosity over Sav using very similar landers, and I believe there were some issues where Sav was being difficult in regards to transferring domains. Dan has said they were unable to sort it out after making efforts and that the issues couldn't be resolved, Sav has said they were unaware of any issues (iirc), so take it all with a grain of salt I guess but I learn towards trusting Dan tbh.

yes thats what i meant.. that they shoud sort their bugs before promo not after, nobody cares for chatting and wasting time like this.

I have some SAV domains listed at DAN and the landing page is working fine!
Did they left the ban on SAV domains?
