The .MOBI is not mentioned, specifically ... and both Samsung and Nokia are key "backers" of the extension? :blink:

well that's not what this article is about it's about the technology they're working on together ... not sure how or why .mobi, or any extension for that matter, would be mentioned.

.tv i can kind of understand you bringing up, but why the heck would .tel be more pertinent to this than .mobi IYHO? is .tel supposed to be short for television ? i couldn't find this info at nic.tel.

Yeah, I'm reading further into the whole .TEL (.TELephone / .TELevision?!?) now, actually ... but the .TV (Television versus Tuvalu) may very well be more applicable with the "Mobile TV" even more so than .MOBI, IMHO. :gl:

the point is people are also know TV short for Television, or Television could be Tele, not Tel. and TEL always short for Telephone and designate home or office land line.
