Sale advice please.

Someone has expressed unsolicited interest in one of my domains.
He has asked that I supply an appraisal.
In this case, should I spend the money on one, or should he.
I would sell the name for low to mid xxx
If I do ,can somebody please advise an affordable, and reputable service.

What a crock pot. Tell him to get his own appraisal if he wants. Just quote him a price and say if you want it, pay up.

Its not like I'm actively marketing the domain.

Write him back and inform him that if he requires an apprasial, then he is welcome to get one and forward it to you. I guarantee you'll never hear from him again. :o

I agree. Tell him he is very welcome to have it appraised at his own cost. Let him know if it appraises for more, you are not obligated to sell, since you now know it could be worth more. At the same time, if it appraises for less, you are still not obligated to sell. The selling price is up to you, regardless. :gl:

It surely is a scam. No enduser who has an interest in a particular domain would ask for an appraisal.

As you can see, many of us here are pretty well acquainted with these BiG League scammers ... and are willing to assist those, such as yourself, who may not know just how bad they really are, IMHO.
