Couple of years ago I foresaw a 8 figure sale for NFTs.com
https://www.namepros.com/threads/2022-most-expensive-domains-wanna-bet.1262452/

Today I just discovered that RWAs.com is also for sale (have been checking the site for the past year regularly)

RWAs (Real-World Assets) are probably the biggest thing that will happen to the financial world in the next years, basically putting every single asset onchain

I have no idea how much the owner wants but this will be probably the most important domain in the market for the next future and I will be not surprised if it beats any previous record

Have a good summer domainers!

Agreed.... RWA is a grail term to play in the future.

Congrats to the seller on NFTs.com. That sure was a well timed sale.

I tend to agree that RWA would be the domain to own, just like NFT is far superior.

Every market has a pendelum.. The NFT trend has swung the opposite direction, but that does NOT mean it's over... some people will always collect blockchain relics, just like some collect baseball cards and some collect domains.....imo

That's true.

I mean bored apes have lost over 90% of value from peak, at least floor price, but some people are still willing to pay $25K - $30K for one.

Many NFT basically went down to less than mint price. There is still some demand though, but nowhere near what it was.

Supply is massive & demand is weak (as end user utility remains the wild card)... We know how that goes by history... Good seeing ya Brad!

Depends on who the the buyer and the seller are

Boston Consulting Group wrote a detailed report on RWAs

https://web-assets.bcg.com/1e/a2/5b5f2b7e42dfad2cb3113a291222/on-chain-asset-tokenization.pdf

They forecast a market size of around $16 trillion by 2030, and in the best scenario $68 trillion

In that case a 9 figure might even be possible...becoming RWAs the most important asset/tech in the world

Real good domains are hard to get, the guy that sold AI.com for I think 10M left on the table at least 20 additional millions imo

We say domains are digital address, our digital identit and companies digital identities are becoming more important than the IRL ones

It's time for domainers to price their domain at the right level

Stop dreaming it, do it...

Are you sure you're not using this to advertise one of your domains?

I would not pay $100 for this domain.

Every market has a pendelum.
Still holding out for the return of tulip mania?

The NFT trend has swung the opposite direction, but that does NOT mean it's over.
It does. The only reason people were driven to the market was because of the promise of convenient financial gains. Now when most have sobered up to the bullshit with rug pulls and whatnot they're not coming back.

.. some people will always collect blockchain relics, just like some collect baseball cards and some collect domains.....imo
The NFT market died quicker than it took off. It's not that people lost interest in it. If that was the case it would've been a slow death.

How can someone (still) think that NFT is superior to NFTs, even though the 4 digit domain sold for $15 mio.

RWA is a real thing, but:
Real things always take much more time than art (NFTs).

So...

We are too early.

First crypto has to be adopted by all big players, not just for speculation (BTC), but for some sort of utility,
then come RWA.
