advice .ru or .de?

Which one is most profitable?

I decided to choose .de

What do you normally choose?
Does it depend on the words itself?

..if you find yourself choosing between .ru and .de that's a strong sign that something went wrong from the very beginning. imho

.de is for Germany and has a fairly healthy aftermarket. I would leave .ru alone.

So I go for .de

.de has had so much more sales (see Namebio) in the last few months than .ru

The .de extention is widely used in domain hacks like EXTRU .DE however the .ru would only yield GU.RU if there was no syntax error.
