Round USA in 50 days, How much?

1. Will rent a car and ride round the USA from west to east to south to north from 0701 to 0808.
2. Each day, hotel or motel will be no more than 120 bucks.

in your view:
1. How much will it cost? just suggest.
2. What location I need to go?
3. How much gasoline per gallon?
4. How to save cost?

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Gas averages from $3.50-$4.00/gallon. Your cost will vary depending on the mileage your vehicle gets per gallon, and of course, how many miles you drive. :p

And if I understand your statement correctly:-

Hotel/Motel EACH day? 50 days? @120 bucks? That's around $6,000 alone.

6K just for 120 per night in hotel. Prolly cheaper but lets just say that.

1. I would estimate you trip is gonna be around 15K - 20K USD EASILY maybe more.

2. Depends on where you want to start.

3. Gas Differs from place to place, anywhere from 3.40-5.00 per gallon at the moment.

4. How to save costs? Sleep in your car. Get a gas efficient rental, i.e. hybrid. Dont take the trip
