Just put up the logo. Please read my post, and give honest opinions.

---------------------------------------

The goal was clean and professional - yet still fun, with character.

I think member "will7" did a fantastic job in accomplishing that goal, and my nephew in editing and modifying it further. It was made in vector, so it scales nicely small/large.

My concerns...

A) It might be too big; specifically too tall. Even shrunk down small like the example you are viewing, it has rather tall proportions for a header/title page.

B) Do people "get it" ? Do you immediately recognize it as a robot with a joystick/controller?

C) Overall, this small, does it look Clear? Fuzzy? Distorted? Good?

---------------------------------------

Thank you very much. :)

Looks great! I got it right away.

As for proportions, I'd say it's fine for the image, but when implemented with a design, if you don't build the site design correctly it could cause minor problems. Not a big deal so overall the logo is great! 9.5/10

Btw, nice name & site when developed... especially with NASA's contest. :D

Looks Good Man!

Hey,

Logo definately looks good, me thinks if you the robot would be resting on the "ee" as if his legs, might look much impact and appealing.

Logo can be complete unit ready for Print, Website or Banner Ad, so the more compact and classy the better would be the scalability of the same.

I hope I was not critising it, its just a suggestion.

Thanks for all the compliments (I know they were directed at -db-, but I guess I had a little bit to do with it ;)) and I'd also like to compliment your nephew, -db-, he did a good job of editing it and improving it, just hope I made it easy for him to do :)

Nice job. I think it accomplished exactly what you were going for.

2 very small crits:

1. the ".com" is too light. If you're gonna say it, say it, by golley!! Logos have to be concise and to the point, so either have the .com in there so we can see it, or leave it out. (It isn't really necessary to have the .com - you can definitely get away with "Roboteer" and leave it at that.)

2. The logo is slightly busy. I wonder if elements can be juggled or rearranged to have a smoother and less frenetic composition?

overall, 9/10 - fix those things and you got the full 10 from me! The colors and idea really lend itself to a great website design. I don't think it's proportions and height are too big for a website at all.

Great job!
