Armstrong, (and RJ) I hope you don't mind me making this post - I would have pm'd you about it earlier asking for your permission, but since it's already so late and I just got this idea, I decided to go ahead and make it.
Friends: Many of you know about Christine Pechera who is battling cancer. After months of searching for a Bone Marrow Donor, she has not found an exact match. However, things are becoming desperate, and she & her family have decided to go ahead with a bone marrow transplant on July 5th that is only a partial match. This is VERY risky because the body could very well reject the new bone marrow. But as of now, it is her only hope of surviving.
I realize this forum is filled with people of all walks of life and of probably many different religions and beliefs. However, I would like to ask those of you who are interested to join me tomorrow evening at 9:30 pm EST for a time of prayer, here in the chat rooms. I will arrive between 5-10 minutes early to create a seperate chat room from the Lobby. Anyone is welcome to join us, regardless of walk and religion.
I don't want to push my religious beliefs on anyone, so please understand I am not trying to begin an "evangelism thread" or anything. I just want to do what I think will help.
Right now, in my opinion, prayer for Christine is the most important thing.
