This isn't remotely bad but the suffix (-ed) hurts a ton.

I agree... the -ed really turns the name into a name which can be used for a lot of words, such as quoted, messaged, replied, etc...

Some are worth much, and since this is a net, maybe low $xxx is a good price for the domain!

Now if you are getting results, great..., but from a wholesale perspective
you can see there is not that much interest in the word.

Now the site, http://revolved.net/ is bad assed, has a great look and content and I believe should do well if/when you have set your KW's Metas (which I dont see in your source) to the subject and not the domain name. The Title is well thought out and relates to your site and if you would add a (HOME) back to index page link on all pages that might help as well.
