I got an offer for $250 for this domain name, and started a Sedo auction. I'm promoting the auction in my posts here and on a poker affiliate forum (PAP). Anybody feel like taking a shot at what the domain name will ACTUALLY sell for when the auction closes in a week?

You could review the top online poker sites, and with affiliate links, you could be making $250 a month!

Thanks for the appraisals. Definitely keep 'em coming.

I think it would be really interested to actually say an exact amount so when it sells, I can go back and we can see who is the most accurate at a real-life appraisal. I'll give $5 NPs for the appraiser who is closest without going over. That's five big ones, guys!

You can't take another guy's figure and you only get one guess. I'll post the actual ending price in a week when the auction ends.

But I'm sure there are 100 similar names that could be had for xx, xxx or reg fee even. The kind of site you are suggesting would be content driven, sites such as that don't need an amazing domain, they need great marketing, word of mouth and content.

pokerscout.com (which was pokersitescout.com for a long time) is a great example of this. he has built a great product. could be listed as thepokersitecout.net and do fine.

obviously there is some value in this domain over pokersitereview.com or whatever but i don't think it is justified with the price of this domain. i think dutch got lucky here and two people really wanted this domain and went at it in auction fever.
