Domain: http://pass.redirectme.net

Domain Information: It is a temporary free domain from no-ip.com - until I find a good domain, it will probably stay as that :P PM me if you have a cheap (or free :hehe:) proxy related domain.

Website Information: It is a web-based PHP proxy. :) Nuff said.

Website Design: I've been playing around with it for a long time to present a simple design, and I'm pretty happy with it. Some comments from friends are "It's feminine" :P Probably is eh?

So, I appreciate any feedback :) Thanks!

Will R+p'd good reviews.

I agree with you on simplicity. I like simplicity too. However, I would take the purple bar underneath your header and frame the layout with it. I like simple, but not so simple that you have all that white space. I have seen proxies similar to this, but they all usually framed their layout.

The only other advice I have for you is to make sure you have enough hosting to cover a proxy. I had one once, but my server couldn't keep up the load so I had to get rid of it.

Good luck to you

Kickass:

There is no .favicon! Visit here to learn about favicons. I use that website for all of mine.

Your Logo. It's very bright, makes the site seem very friendly and easy to use. Several people will enjoy this!

Ad placement is fantastic. Really, it's in a perfect place and doesn't take away from the nice looking template.

Advanced Options Dropdown, very nice. That was great, I loved it! I think you should mention to users that "click to show" or something, so people know. I wasn't sure at first.

It's simple, keep it like that. Your website is very simple and I think simple-template are perfect for a proxy website.

The bad:

[ Terms of Use ] [ Advertise ] is not aligned in that gradient box! This is not a huge deal, certainly not. However; fixing it would help your site look more professional.

Copyright. I think that your copyright should be the last thing placed on the website, near the bottom.

No Alternative Text on images. Not exactly web design related, but you might want to give alt. text to your images!

Rock it,

CWN

The Bad
  • There is no favicon.
  • The site contains too many colors.
  • The logo is too basic.
  • The input box's text is too bold and big.
  • Too busy.
  • The bottom most text is not centered and the link does not match overall coloring of site.

The Good
  • Fast load.
  • The site works and is not broken.

Great - glad you're making progress. :) Let me know once you're all done with the changes, I'd love to see them - and I'd like to do a link exchange with you! My proxy site gets 500uniques a day, page rank 4. Surely it can assist you :)

Thanks - I've added the frame around the content. Should I change the colour?

Still open for feedback :)

Site review

Hi. First of all, the template looks quite good. The white background needs to be coloured, the border is good, the logo is wonderful. Second, the proxy script is well-based within the layout.

Good luck with your site!

Overall Rating: 9/10

If you liked my review and comments, you can add rep for me.

Regards. :)
