[Review] Please Review my Personal Site

Hi, I am intending to make this my portfolio/blog site.
I am not very familiar with blogs (i.e. wordpress) so currently I have simply coded it in basic HTML and CSS.

I only have one computer to test out the site if would be great if you guys gave me some input.

Inputs can be anything but I am particularly interested in hearing about the darkness of the overall layout.
Is it too dark? Too dark to the point where you can't distinguish anything?
Because some of my friends told me that it was simply too dark.

P.S.: if someone can show me a easy tutorial that I can use to turn my site into Wordpress that would be great!

Not sure about wordpress, but tutorials can be found @ htmlgoodies.com, I have used that site for years!

Also, the site is way too dark, but that's just me, I dont like black backgrounds at all.

it is really nice, your right about that. But.. i'm with the other poster and I'm not really into dark sites and yes it's hard to read anything

It's Latin + Spanish..lol
It's an exerpt from the famous "Lorem ipsum" and I added some random Spanish words here and there.

I wouldn't do that for us, tons of users out there like dark web sites. What you need to do is look at your target market and focus on the specific template that would meet their needs or wants.

Design is good but too too dark. Text is as difficult to read as some of macdonalds menus signs used to be.

and far too much latin being used, kinda limits your market don't you think :hehe:

And as for Latin, I'm just using it as a filler text and the site is going to be for my personal project, so it's okay..haha
