Hi,

Well, I was looking for a bit of extra income and something my partner can run, she's really into the idea.

We have sourced some wholesalers close to were we live so that we can offer competitively priced products.

I'm relatively new to running my own online store, so some advice would be great. I was thinking of using Adwords, would that benefit me? I have also opened up an eBay Store.

Please have a look and give your opinions:

Store: Snack City
Blog: Snack City Blog

Not all the products have been added yet, and some require images and pricing needs to be fixed.

Advice needed :)

Thanks, will look into coding issues :)

So how much is the Shipping cost, for a 2.00 candy?

The boiled sweets are £2.19, the shipping is about £1. However, the market is really focused on people buying multiple items (which will generally be the case), thats how sites like a quarter of have started turning over millions. The site is really focused on customers getting sweets, they find hard to obtain in sweet shops here in the UK.

The chocolate, will have a minimum order too - which will be much cheaper than the shops.

However, I haven't added all content, fixed prices etc (it's a long process) I was more looking for appraisals on the web design/code.

Looks great indeedy!

Although I think all Haribos should be banished from planet Earth immediately due to their absolutely horrible taste and lingering yuck aftertaste, three chears for most of the rest of your offering.

In terms of the landing page - I know I'm way behind the times and an old git, but I think the main image should be static. I prefer sites that have a good static image as it is a good first impression, but then you are immediately drawn to scroll down.

Just my 1/4lb worth.

Well done for getting where you are with your business.

oohh, n maybe you should not put your latest product at the very end of your web page :) because that need to attracts the most attention i think

I like the site. Seems easy to navigate, and you have a variety of yummy items for sale.

The blog has a great layout. No problems there either.
