Guys, start thinking.
Your income will not grow anymore.
Google removes from search results your links, keeping only links with really good content.
They made 2 important core update in december.
You better read about those updates to understand why your income goes down.
It is something to explore. I've never gone down the path of creating a basic website to monetize a name. There are a few that get significant type in traffic that could make some money.Definitely, it has been nice this past year doing parking and getting income covering the costs for renewals of multiple domains.
The questionis maximizing the revenue. If even a very rudimentary website with a blog can provide much more thanks to Adsense and other ad options, that's an important alternative to consider as well.
I m not sure who are those paid promoters that create topics here, they say that parking brings them allot of monthly income, they are most likely fairy tellers, but the truth is harsh, there is no profit from parking, only a waste of time.
Yes, there are some being blocked.but there are blank pages from blockers
like you say it's not easy to put a generic price for every domains but i try to resume it a bit.Hi
thanks for posting!
so, what do you consider to be "marketprice" for traffic/revenue domains?
i know it's a vague question without more details, like whether they are typo or generic names with type-in or link traffic.
do you have a scale or benchmark that's used?
i have some that have been earning parking rev for 16 years and even if they don't earn the same as in 2006...they still produce.
i know it's difficult as you say, to acquire them, even while some folks are still saying that PPC is dead.
and you gotta be diligent because there are some fake traffic sellers lurking too!
HiNowadays it's easier to find expired traffic domains but sellers asks also 24x of averages after first months where the domains make the most... but the funny part is that they are able to find buyers
normally i don't buy domains with just 2/3 months in rev if i never dealt with them in the past.Hi
agree, and the buyers they do find are assuming the highest risk, when there are only a few months of stats to review.
i know, cuz i got "caught-up" a few times over the years.
the user is already disappeared and deleted from NP.tell his name and what was the issue
Maybe they used a client mail base to generate traffic. After you paid, they started to use the same email base for another domain or site.the user is already disappeared and deleted from NP.
The issue? they are able to generate fake traffic and parking company can't detect it unless anyone tell them to check it carefully.
I never found people able to fake the traffic like that and for so long time.. those names had more than 1 year in stats.
After i purchased the domains... they stopped the traffic.
Now I don't buy anything unless I can envision where the traffic is coming from but yeah there are clean domains that get traffic and rev but i can't figure out where this traffic is coming from.
Sorry to hear about your bad experiences., ive been using parking crew now and they pay regularly and give great stats on your domains .s is the clown that has my money
That's a shame, that you were trying to point out a problem, and got hurt in the process. Well, kudos for your trying. Perhaps, in retrospect, contacting customer support and alerting the ad provider may have been best?Maybe they used a client mail base to generate traffic. After you paid, they started to use the same email base for another domain or site.
Once I saw on Flippa a website for sale, the price was 400k, I checked the traffic and didn't find even 1 organic visit and 0 ranked keywords according to MOZ.
It was a news site with no valuable domain and a lot of trash posts, zero informative, full of ads, and even had no decent visual design.
The seller had only 1 previous sale, for a high price but that site also was trash without even 1 organic visit.
I and more users started to comment on It, and I even contacted the support and asked them to pay attention to this seller.
But they ban me forever and my Flippa account is suspended since then.
They also removed all our comments from that page.
i'm not expert on websites and i didn't check the website, however only seeing that 70% of the traffic is coming from a direct source + a 20% from no_url_shorteners, for me is a very big red flag!!!!
That's why I contacted the Flippa support and told them about the potential scam.i'm not expert on websites and i didn't check the website, however only seeing that 70% of the traffic is coming from a direct source + a 20% from no_url_shorteners, for me is a very big red flag!!!!
For those of us with less traffic savvy, could you kindly explain what are "no_Url_Shorteners," and why it's a red flag?i'm not expert on websites and i didn't check the website, however only seeing that 70% of the traffic is coming from a direct source + a 20% from no_url_shorteners, for me is a very big red flag!!!!
So it is used i to mislead parking companies and SEO engines into believing there is more traffic than there really is? Perhaps it's best that more isn't said about this. We don't want to encourage any other folks out there to use this devious tactic. It was a specific URL shortener, but NP does not permit them in threads.
Exactly!!!!So it is used i to mislead parking companies and SEO engines into believing there is more traffic than there really is? Perhaps it's best that more isn't said about this. We don't want to encourage any other folks out there to use this devious tactic.
That ultimately likely hurts revenues for parking companies.
