Some domains like .travel, .aero, cctlds require local presence or have restrictions...but this can be bypassed by a trustee service. What is the point of having a trustee service? Why is local presence required: to be able to locate and k-ll domain owner if necessary? Trustee services may require photo id and this is very bad; otherwise it is great, but meaningless. If money is supposed to go to the registry then, nonlocals should pay to the registry directly via their registrars. I "like" UDRP but hate other legal actions And try to avoid it by email or making a small payment or losing a domain.
