NamePros Tip: Resolve a Thread

Hey,

Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet...

Earlier, i suggested to RJ, why not add the "Resolve Thread" feature to this forum?
After i saw it in the "Private Messages To Staff" forum.

It will help identify those threads which have already being solved, to save time. :)

If you have replied, or posted the thread, you can click "Click Here To Mark This Thread As Resolved". :)

If you goto the Private forum ad look at one of your threads you can mark it as resolved (link at the top of the thread).

However if it was to be done in a public forum, i think it should be restriceted to the OP and moderators/staff only, that way someone cant go around and mark all threads as resolved.

Other than that, its a good idea - it would probably work on the web design reviews forum too. Except call it "Reviewed" instead of resolved :)

I thought that, like The Admin Zone has...
Guess it's up to RJ. ;)

However, if users see it's "Reviewed", they might not bother adding there input. :)

Great idea and why not use that in Design Contests Forum too?

very good idea. I like it.

I came to the programming section to see if there were any good new threads and the 2 resolved ones stood out, I did wonder what they were.

Heres another one - once sites, domains and graphics are sold, they could be marked sold :)

This is a great idea, should be throughout the forum to some level, like rmwebs mentioned.
