I have 2500 domains in my GoDaddy account and just realized that one recent name that I had transferred to my GoDaddy account still had the old owner's registration information. I had not remembered to change it once it transferred into my account.

Now, it makes me wonder if there are any other names in my GoDaddy account like this. There shouldn't be, but I have to make sure. There's no way I can find on GoDaddy to check this. Yes, I could simply change the reg info for all my names in one fell swoop, but I thnk that would update the Date Changed field in the record and start a new 60 day hold on all names, which would not be good for sales I might get in the next 60 days.

Does anyone know either 1) a way to search for these names in GoDaddy, or 2) a free software program in which I can plug my names into and it will show a column for registrant name or email?

Thanks!

It's as easy as this---just go to the bulk edit mode, put all of your domains to the right side of the screen and then change your contact info. Hit save and the contact info will then be the same for all of your domains.

2500.... lol And I thought my 400+ at GD are hard to manage.

Thank you, but you missed the part in my post about not wanting to update the "Date Updated" field in my Whois info, which would then disallow any transfer outside GoDaddy for 60 days.

I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say, but I believe the field that matters regarding the 60 day restriction is the name/address. For instance, nameservers are part of whois info; however, my experience has been that just because you change nameservers this will not restrict your ability to transfer the domains.

well it only applies that u cant transfer out of godaddy.com in 60days..simply ask them to create a new godaddy account if they dun have one then u can push to a godaddy account even within that 60days.

so u can update all the domains now..
