Some weird stuff happened with my domain account at GoDaddy. One of my prize domains I've had for several years had apparently reverted back to a previous owner (a member of this forum, in fact, who was very polite when I called him up to investigate.)
The DNS info had been changed on at least a dozen names to CPNS01.SECURESERVER.NET, including the prize name. After further reviewing the list, one other name had apparently reverted back to a previous owner.
In each case, there was some garbage characters in the registration info. It looks like the database had been corrupted somehow.
On the one hand, the nameserver change looks like my account was hacked. But the names reverting back to previous registrants was completely weird. I was able to fix them, the names had not been transferred out of my account...only the contact info changed.
Anyone else experience this with GoDaddy lately?
