I continually read posts about Moniker having the best security of any of the registrars but I wonder how valid these posts are. I also wonder whether "security" pertains to domain name management or if that's something different.
First, there was the situation some time ago whereby passwords weren't case- sensitive at Moniker. That didn't inspire me a lot.
Now, I find that one of my names - TennisCoach.org - which I transferred to GoDaddy months ago, hasn't been purged from Moniker's domain management system. It still shows up in Moniker's records as a domain held by them. To top it off I was sent an email yesterday informing me the domain had failed to renew. Duh?
