Contest End Date & Time: 9.00 AM GMT: 20 March 2013

Size Requirements: Need two versions. Main logo will be 300w x 200h, and I also need a smaller version of the same 110w x 90h

Color Requirements: No particular color requirements, so be creative! Note that the graphic will appear on this site: http://www.errorfm.com/, where you can see two sizes - 300x200 version in lower right, 110x90 version on left side.

General Requirements: This is a logo for radio show called "Brainwaves" on an Internet radio station. The logo should include the attached picture of me somewhere and the text: "Brainwaves. eclectic alternative radio. with Brian Blum." (It doesn't have to be all on one line or in one sentence. You decide on capitalizations)

If you wanted to put into the design some "waves," that's fine (you certainly don't have to do this, just a nice font with my picture could be nice, too). If you do use waves, though, it should NOT be waves coming out of a "brain" ("Brain" is a play on words of my name "Brian.")

The smaller version can omit some of the main graphic if you think it will read more clearly in the smaller space. You can rearrange the elements, too, if that works better.

Feedback on first logo

Thanks for the first logo!. But I think it makes my head too prominent. Maybe something more like this attached graphic, which is for another radio show on the same Internet radio station. My head could be off center, Brainwaves could be written large, with eclectic alternative radio under it and with Brian Blum under that. Or try something different as you like! Don't let me stop your creativity!

Hi Sobi - couple of suggestions: 1) remove the two lines making the X - it looks too much like the example from Gooddesigner. 2) Move the text at the bottom up - if you look at the link for the "sample" of The Bill Show, you'll see that that a think black line of text will be added to the bottom of the graphic area by the radio station with the time the show is broadcast, so I need that area open. 3) The title is spelled wrong, it's "Brainwaves" not "Brianwaves." Thanks & nice job!

Hi everyone - looking good! Here's some feedback:

1. Jeffrey - nice. Please change my last name to "Blum" and move it further up (there needs to be room for a thin strip that the radio station is going to add dynamically with the time and day of the show at the bottom).

2. Sammyloski - looks good. No changes at this time.

3. Sobi - I need the "eclectic alternative radio" moved up a little more to make room for the thin strip the radio station is adding. Also, you made Brian Blum in black and it's hard to read on the dark background.

4. Gooddesigner. Same comments for everyone else - I need all of the text moved up slightly (Brainwaves, eclectic alternative radio and with Brian Blum) to make room for the thin strip the radio station adds. See the example for the attached graphic for "The Bill Show Example.jpg."

Really good entries - it's going to be hard to decide!

Hi Sammy - one comment I received was that my head looks like it's "cut out" on top of the background - can you fix the white line around my head?

Jeffrey - can you show me how the 110w x 90h version of your logo would look? I'm concerned that the text will be too small to read if you just shrink it. Maybe need to drop the "eclectic alternative radio" line and move the other two lines around a bit? WDUT?

Yes, I can fix that no problem, it was actually added, since the background is so dark. I will play a little with the background as well to have some contrast.
