[REQ LOGO/MASCOT] - Zombie Radio

Contest Duration : 7 +2 days (less than 4 designs so we are extending for another 48 hours)
Size Requirements : 200px x 135px
Color Requirements : Please check test site here. The logo should replace the "Vortex" logo so it will be on a blue background. We suggest that you use the colors found on the site or any other color you think that will match (e.g. orange)..

General Requirements :
The site is about an internet (only) radiostation named "Zombie Radio" and the domain name will be zombie.gr. You should use the word "radio" somewhere on the logo. We would like a zombie cartoon as a mascot. We are looking something cartoonish and cute and we would like to avoid any "gore" and brutal elements like blood, splashed brains, etc. We would like something funny, funky and original. e.g. a dancing zombie with headphones on or a dj zombie with microphone, etc...It could either be full body character or you could give emphasis to the head and the hands. Anyway it depends on your ideas....

Additional Info : Only vector designs please.

Ok guys, feedback time:

Timoteo

Thanx for the entry Timoteo. What we are actually looking for
is a busy approach, with detail (especially if one draws
only the head). Your concept is nice but its kinda simple and
uses a lot of space for only shapes and lines.

What we also would like to see is a better font and some texture
and different colors on the font.

NIce entry Abu Gabby. We like your concept. However some features
should be modified. More specifically:

Change the "metal-style" left hand. We dont want to give the impression
that we are a metal-zone radio. Also, we want a more "modern" zombie. Maybe different clothing, bigger head (maybe shorter neck), and holding another artifact (not a walkman) and probably bigger eyes.

We're more impressed with the font and the styling of the text part
of this logo. Its pretty much what we're looking for. Try another
approach on the mascot. More or less our comments on your mascot
are similar to Timoteo's feedback.

MUch better than the previous submission OneKingDown. Here are the
changes we would like you to make.

1) Try doing the head bigger than the rest of the body.
2) Try making a smiling mouth and if you include the teeth make
them a little smaller.
3) Try adding an artifact as we initially instructed (i.e mic,
headphones, giving the impression that the zombie is broadcasting
a radio show)
4) stiches are nice but bandaids are not)
5) Try making it less 3D and more 2D cartoonish
6) The head should look more human and less alien so try not to make
it so round (i think that if you add the mouth it should be fine)


Overall color of eyes, skin and t-shirt is fine.

Hayes: Nice design but we are mainly looking for a mascot so emphasis should be given on the zombie.

Timoteo: Try something less "human".

Do you guys know eddie the Iron Maiden mascot? Take a look at the following picture:

We like the headphones he's wearing, the crazy hair and the microphone hanging (maybe holding it will do the job).. Of course our zombie should be cute and happy and not gore as Eddie is..
