[REQ-LOGO] Logo for BBQ company - $45

Type of Contest : LOGO Design

Prize : $45.00

Contest End Date & Time : June 29th, 4PM EST


Size Requirements : Undetermined, but this logo needs to be big enough to use on prints of shirts, signs, etc.

Color Requirements : BBQ colors. Charcoal, fire, dark oranges.

General Requirements : We are looking to get a logo built for "Boondock BBQ", which is a company that caters parties with pig and chicken roasts. The company is located in the hill towns ("boondocks"). So something along those lines could be used as well.

What we are looking for is a logo that is simple, yet has a KICK to it. Must be readable on a sign, as well as tee shirts.

Additional Information : The final product should be in a PSD or Vector format, 300 dpi, and large enough to print on a lawn sign, and a hanging banner.

The entries are a good start. Looking for something a little more 'playful'. Check out Famous Dave's BBQ for ideas. I like the pig in the circle concept. Would entertain the idea of a smoker/cooker in the logo as well.

Font variations:

I really like the font. I'm concerned that the 'flames' may not print out well on a tee shirt. Could I see it without those in the background?

So far this is my favorite. My business partner likes it too.

I like your design, and the simplicity of the flames. However I don't like the Boondock font, it's almost similar to TheGraphicsGuy's first entry. The small grill doesn't seem to imply the message. We use a cooker that is 7 feet long. I really like the idea of having a pig in the logo.

With my notes, I'd love to see another entry.
