[REQ - Logo] Logo for a new site - $60 prize

Hi all ... looking for a logo for an upcoming site I want to do, whaleskin{.}com. It will be a wall decal brand (d), . Would like it to appear retro with a unique font, but still simple, bold and legible.

Type of Contest : LOGO Design

Prize : $60.00

Contest End Date & Time : February 25 - noon - 2 week runtime

Size Requirements : Winner will supply logo in vector and jpeg formats.

Color Requirements : Open .. but would like for it to look as good or better when black and white ... think oval bumper stickers

General Requirements : Would like to see it with and without the .com (but the .com shouldn't just be added like and afterthought, I'd like it to look like it's part of the name)Reason being online I wouldn't use the .com but anything offline i'd like to have the .com shown

Additional Information : Not sure what I prefer, but am thinking I would like to see either just a tail, on top of the name, or a full whale, etc.?

Jed, thanks for the submissions, not a big fan of the long whale, maybe you could make regular size and work into a new try? Also on the second one, I think a bolder font is needed.

Catfish, I really like how you worked in the whale tail .. could you try rolling the front edge of the W?

I think I will narrow it down to the final 3 by Thursday. If any modifications are needed, ask for them at that point to be able to pick a winner on Saturday.

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUBMISSIONS.

At this time I am going to narrow it down to 3 finalists. I am asking for some modifications from each, and if all are taken care of by Saturday, I will choose the winner.

In no paticular order...

1. Will7, post #13. Can you please make the W capitalized and show with both the .com and without. Also curious how it would look with maybe one of the water sprouts (back one) filled blue?

2. Catfish, post #21. I would really like to have the corner of the W rolled (like in Will7's) to look like a sticker. Also, can you too supply an option with the .com built in (or atleast show an option with www . whaleskin . com under the logo).

3. Scorpion, post #24. I'd like to loose the box, lines and water spout and also see it with and without the .com.

Please let me know if you need clarification.
