@sheryonline, font is ok, image still has some room for improvement. Compass or direction metaphor can be used, instead.

@logoesdesign, thanks for the re-submission, the yellow colour is not consistent with the theme our site is based upon. Font colour is too light. Try yellow part with light blue and the font dark blue and/or black. (second try) not our theme.

@jitoms, (top) colour break in the font is not working. (bottom), same here. Your design is interesting and in the direction we are looking for. However, there is something thatโ€™s missing. Try thinner fonts or try to improve o in North, you donโ€™t need to use the same colour for tagline unless it's essential.

Key, (top) image looks cluttered. (bottom) image is okish but can be improved. Font in both cases requires a lot of work.

@GoodDesigner, image too heavy, font is also a bit heavy. Image is not conveying any message.

@Ervato, Interesting. Try slightly different thicker fonts, arrow requires to be set at straight north.

General
I would love designers to use the fonts for direction/pointing metaphors etc, try to avoid heavy images. You can also try to put True North in 2 lines, adding some creativity in such a way that we donโ€™t need any external images at all. Thanks.

First of all. Let me thank everybody for their creativity and hard work. It was extremely difficult for us to pick the winner. All the designs are nice and attractive. But due to the nature of this contest, I can pick only one designer.

We have made up our mind and am pleased to announce that our team has declared Ervato (#18 - permalink) as the winner. :)

Congratulations! Please send me your Paypal address for the payment.
