How do you people get such great rep? I've been here for a few months but I don't think I've gotten any! It's green but... iunno. I've been active every day and nice and have done several transactions over NP but nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Well first of all this is in the wrong forum but usually you only get it when you post lists or giveaway free stuff, something like that. You have to ask for it too usually lol

I would suggest to anyone also to give positive rep SPONTANEOUSLY each time when you think someone posted a contribution that it is valuable for you.

Please do not make this for negatively influence the reputation of anyone for no reasons, give a spontaneous rep rating it only make sense for positive ones.)

I have some hard difficult to accept the idea to ask to other to add a rep to me, I always thought that a reputation must be spontaneously formed, on the base of some merit others recognize to him.

I feel like Taylor, I've posted over 300 times, a good percent of my threads have had a lot of readers and contributors, but only 3 persons (thanks guys I really appreciated your evaluation)rated my reputation good and for that fact I thought, until now, my contributions was not so much valuable for others but ...may be I is not so bad

Attention please for all the newbies and those not so newbie but distract as I evidenly am.... ( note the t is missed)
to add reputation, there is a little icon representing a balance to click.

I point out this because for a serie of circumstaces I have do wrong until now.
Some one gave to me a positive comment that was added to my TRADER RATING, so I thought that reputation was this! (That anyway wouldn't be wrong conceptually )

So until mow I used to give trade rating to others when I intended to give them a positive reputation score.....

I have been here awhile, always giving free link info etc away. helping with appraisals etc it will take time but good honest rep is the way forward. So if a peice of info is helpful to the visitor to the page you created or replied in then i am sure you will get some Rep

Rep = slightly overrated The rep is really useful for the people who are active in the trading forums. It makes it easier to see who's reliable and who isn't. Ie, if a transaction went smooth - positive rep is added. If problems occured or the deal went down the drain, negative rep is added.

I don't worry much about the rep statistics, the people that know me here @ NP know who I am and what I stand for Contribute and be a good member of the community and you will see your reputation rise!

Just be a nice member, and hang around for a while.
If you know of some good available domains, post 'em! Wventually you'll get som rep.

If you say something very valuable to someone, or important or helpful, people may also give you rep for that.

the icon that represent a small scale, or balance, I don't know the exact term in english.

agree with fajsi, I never thought at them and totally rely on the sensation I perceive when I read the comments on my post.

I haven't see any person with bad reputation here, not yet and I hope never. That's why I like Name pro: reliable and true people makes a place trustable. (Always drive with eyes open)
