I posted a screenshot, owner and admin of domain listed as "Repossessed by Wild West Domains"

I can find no good info on Google about this other than DomainIQ says there are 10,306 domains associated with that email.

I can only speculate, but looking at the 2016 expiration date I can only guess it was locked up due to some legal dispute or something similar. But I am only guessing.

Got a low ball offer on the name with a sob-story, .net other variations taken so don't want to just let it go. Checked history and found the repossession.
