Dynadot have closeout domains for $5 which include renewals as which every auction purchse.
So he wants correct!
Haha, Swetha and Kalin Karakehayov keep surprising the market with these sales. I usually get notification on X every other day with the huge sales in unbelievable tlds :DHOLEY SHIT Swetha SOLD a 100k xyz!
This is just another fake. The XYZ registrar and Swetha, seeing that the domains don’t sell and there is no hype, decided to create hype artificially. XYZ domains are spammy domains, and people associate them with spam. Instead of spending money on advertising, the registrar pays sales commissions, which is much cheaper than a full marketing campaign.HOLEY SHIT Swetha SOLD a 100k xyz!
I understand the skepticism but the domain industry has always had debates around reported sales and hype around certain extensions Markets can behave in unexpected ways and sometimes assets many people doubt end up finding real buyers We also cannot say someone is fake without clear proof In the end every investor has to evaluate risk renewals and demand and make their own decisions Moderators are here to keep discussions fair and balanced so everyone should respect that and keep the conversation constructiveThis is just another fake. Swetha leaves the forum under Swetha, then comes back under DNgear to report sales, and leaves again; it’s a circus. People who understand the truth stay silent. Others run around like dogs, claiming everyone is jealous.
Yes, sometimes domainers sold XYZ domains for hundreds or thousands, but not for $100k per domain. Even if a site is live on that domain, the purchase price could have been much lower. Just seeing a purchase in an account is not proof.
Think about it: a poor Indian girl had to renew thousands of domains for at least 3 years, at least 3000 domains. Now calculate the renewals. Even if the first-year registration was $1 or just a few cents, maintaining thousands of domains for several years adds up to a huge amount.
Why come to a forum where domainers sell XYZ domains to each other for a few dollars and say that you sold them for tens of thousands? Why say that there? So people raise the prices? So you can no longer buy domains cheaply? Think about it.
It’s very convenient that Swetha managed to register many one-word XYZ domains, while the registrar made all the remaining domains premium. It looks like manipulation and an artificial monopoly. Now, domainers who still hold 1-word XYZ domains will not drop them. They will keep renewing them every year, hoping that one day they will also sell them for tens of thousands of dollars.
I know this from my own experience. From 2019 to 2024, I was earning around $10k per month, completely passive. Did I go to forums and tell everyone how to do it? Did I advise people to do the same thing? No. Nobody reveals real strategies or secrets. No one brings outsiders to the place where they make money.
Each time, when I post reasonable analysis or commentary, I get banned by admins or attacked by naive forum members, either involved in the scheme or just foolish. The constant deletion of my posts and the repeated bans are another sign that this topic is protected on the forum. It seems the only thing allowed is to come and talk about how Swetha sold another XYZ domain today for a huge amount of money. But asking questions is not allowed. Ask yourselves: who benefits from these fake sales and hype?
This is not skepticism. This is a very strong suspicion. Actually, there is no doubt here. Read again what I wrote and make your own conclusions.I understand the skepticism but the domain industry has always had debates around reported sales and hype around certain extensions Markets can behave in unexpected ways and sometimes assets many people doubt end up finding real buyers We also cannot say someone is fake without clear proof In the end every investor has to evaluate risk renewals and demand and make their own decisions Moderators are here to keep discussions fair and balanced so everyone should respect that and keep the conversation constructive
I understand your point and I agree that it is reasonable for people to have suspicions or questions about certain reported sales. Everyone is free to analyze the market and form their own conclusions. What I was trying to say earlier is simply that none of us can know the full picture with absolute certainty. Different investors look at the same situation differently. At the end of the day it is just the domain market. There will always be hype, skepticism, wins, and losses. No need for anyone to burn their blood over it. Everyone should simply make their own decisions and move forward. This is not skepticism. This is a very strong suspicion. Here they are telling a fairy tale about a poor Indian girl who, for several years, was buying and renewing XYZ domains, hoping to make money from them. Just calculate how much money you need to renew all these domains every year, when you still don’t know if it will work or not. Also, these are domains that people originally associated only with spam and scams, and with nothing else.
Now think about another thing. Who will keep these domains long-term? People register them for one year and then drop them. They are usually registered by people who do spam or scams, or by someone who needs a site for just one year. The first year costs about one dollar or a little more. They are very cheap. After that, people simply drop them. They will not keep renewing them. If someone really wants to build a serious project or service, sooner or later, they will look for a better domain.
But the registrar needs domains to be renewed. Who will renew them? Domainers. Right now, the situation is like this: all the one-word domains are already taken, Swetha has thousands and another domains have suddenly become premium, and another large part is in the hands of domainers. For the registrar to keep making money, those domainers must continue renewing these domains every year. That’s the whole point.
So ask yourself one simple question: why is this topic treated like a sacred cow here? Why am I not allowed to speak? Why do people constantly try to silence me? Nobody ever came to my post and explained anything logically or shared their own reasoning. Instead, some people just run around barking and calling me jealous or stupid, and telling stories about miracles in domaining.
Ask yourself another question: If you had a collection of XYZ domains and suddenly they started selling for very large amounts of money, would you start writing about it? Maybe the first time you would post a sale report, just to show the result. But imagine that the sales keep happening again and again. Would you really come to a forum of domainers and create a lot of noise about it? She (or he) could quietly continue buying them here very cheaply. But instead, she (or he) comes to the forum, tells the story, shows the sales, and talks about how she sold another domain for a huge price.
Why do that? There is only one possible reason: so that people who already own one-word domains keep holding them and keep paying the renewal fee every year.

What you are talking about is similar to a game on the stock market. When people buy and sell stocks, the price goes up and down, and some people try to profit from that. That is hype. The same thing sometimes happens with domains. I have seen several hype waves in domaining. In some of them, I made money, in others, I didn’t get in on time. That happens. That’s normal. But here the situation is a little different. At the end of the day it is just the domain market. There will always be hype, skepticism, wins, and losses.
