Had registered this domain in 2016 and had one renewal after which i dropped it by mistake, i had forgot to remove it from my sedo account and months later i received sold email for it from them (965$) and as per sedo terms and conditions i had to pay the commission for it to save my account at sedo from getting suspended, so had a loss, i had dropped domains getting sold at other marketplaces too like afternic, thankfully they always understood. But sedo was adamant on charging commission based on their new terms and conditions. Sharing this so fellow domainers know this if they don’t already and hopefully learn to not incur loss like me.

This morning I had a "feel good" sale. Bought the domain last July here on NP for $55. This morning, I received a direct offer email from a very polite gentleman for $250.

I thought about it for a minute and was just about to email back a counter when I thought, it's a .org. I deleted my email countering his offer and instead typed "I accept". My thought was that the gentleman was so nice, could be a good cause.

I emailed him the link to the Make Offer page at Afternic and told him to submit his offer that way and that I would accept. He immediately did and I accepted. Within an hour, I saw that he paid and received an email from Afternic saying they were verifying funds. Minutes later, they confirmed the funds and instructed me to push the domain to their holding account at NameSilo. Done.

I had no personal pressure to sell it, but somehow I felt good. I made a small profit and perhaps helped a good cause. It might end up back up for sale, but at $250 for a 4L .org, it wouldn't matter to me.

No sooner do I push the domain I posted earlier, do I get this email and close another one. The "Feel Good" deal paved the way for this one...

I'll post again once it's completed. Should be pretty quick.

Bought this one 11/2018 right here on NP for $35.

By the way, I don't report many sales, but I do like reporting sales where I purchased the domain here on Namepros.

priced for 2500 at namesilo buyer privately emailed me and after negotiation for few days we agreed on a price of 1900. Although i could have gone for payoneer but went with namesilo for easy and fast transaction. also commission there was only 7.5%

I had acquired this domain for 150 from one SEO specialist he in turn had got this domain free of cost as per him from its original owner and his friend who was letting it go to expiry after starting new business with new domain. This SEO specialist became my friend after he had contacted me for another domain through whois

Buyer specifically requested me to not reveal the full domain and keep it under NDA thats why i didnt post the second keyword.

I could have got more for this domain if i had waited. 2500 should have been apt and easy even more considering the domain with decent age but i liked the way buyer emailed me, quite honest, looking to grow his business with limited funds. so i let it go. and i was still anyways having good profit.
