This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Domain Name: Super // ficialist in com
Sales venue: Undeveloped
Registrar: Namebright
Sale Price: €150.00
Sold on: 03/31/2018
Cost: Reg fee + one renewal

The offer was open for nearly 3 months and I closed it a few days after it had expired. Although I tried, the buyer would not budget beyond the price. Eventually, I settled for it (even though I thought it was a little on the low end). Originally, the deal was that the buyer will transfer out as the domain had expired by the time the deal was agreed on. But after the payment, the buyer stopped responding entirely. So I renewed the domain and pushed it to Undeveloped. They took possession and transferred the payment. I'm not sure if they eventually took possession of it or not. Will follow up in a few days to check on this

Jack//O//Lantern//.com
Sales price: $4,250
Venue: outbound email
Purchase price: $1,500
Purchase venue: NP
Hold time: ~3 weeks

Bought this a few weeks ago from another NP user. I spent that time listing it on platforms and considering if I wanted to develop it. I sent my first outbound email today around 11am quoting $5k, buyer came back with $4k, settled on $4250. Sent a PayPal invoice and had the funds a couple hours later. This was my first ever outbound sale. I’ve had no luck selling geos outbound but this certainly justifies the process of marketing to the right people. Buyer runs some sort of Halloween festival, so a pretty perfect end user sale.

Great sale, congrats. Curious what part/where on NP you bought this name? Was is BIN? Make offer? Auction?

Thanks.

C/G/E/X.C/O/M
SEDO BUY NOW
$12500
BUY NOW

Reg date 2005, I think it was some kind backorder back then for $60.

Had Buy Now $30k, got offer $10k, then $11k, then $12k, then $12500, I had my buy now lowered to $15k at this point. And took it.

Buyer is some kind COIN king from Korea. EX - could be some kind exchange etc..
So yes guys you can probably consider it as another crypto sale.

After 6 months of domaining I'm delighted to report my first sale:

Domain: i/b/r/u/x.com
Venue: Undeveloped
Sale Price: $ 300 ( $120 initial offer -> I countered $425 -> he countered $300 -> I accepted)
Purchased: $16 | 30/01/2018 | Name.com expiring

I listed my portfolio (about 200 domains) on Undeveloped in January. Since then I've had 5 (low ball) offers on 5 different domains including the one I just sold. In comparison; I listed my domains from the beginning, October 2017, on Sedo but so far I've only had 1 offer.

In hindsight; I should've accepted 2 out of the 4 other offers I received via Undeveloped but was too greedy and countered with unrealistic prices. But that's all part of the learning curve I guess.

Cheers from the Netherlands

Tournic*com> 200$ > Undeveloped > Dropcatch (15$) >Hold: 1 week
(hand reg value via discount club namebright on 17th april 2018
sold yesterday for $200, low because he made polite request and he was genuinely poor. offer was made via undeveloped so deduct their commission too. sometimes money is not the only thing you work for..)
