Renew @ GoDaddy

Hi All

Godaddy has good prices, especially for info us biz domains i use them.

I just wanted to renew some domains there and was suprised to find out that they want to charge $9.95 for a year. Searching there website I wasn't able to find the prices for renewals. Nice marketing they have to publish only the cheap prices.

I think I have to transfer my domain names out...

If you transfer domains to godaddy, you pay $7.95 and get a one year extension that goes for .com domains atleast..

I renewed my .us for $4.95 per year (this was for 9 years), as per their published price list. Which extension are you talking about?

That's true, .us is $4.95, .biz too (but i have no biz currently to renew), but for .info it's $9.95 and there pricelist shows $6.95

Here the answer I got from godaddy regarding .info renew:

Unfortunately, this price is not available for .INFO renewals.
The sale price you are seeing is only available for new registrations of this type of domain name extensions.
We apologize for the confusion in this matter.

so i transfer my .info domains away from them....

because they want $9.95 a year for the .info renew, that's much to much. (new registration and transfer are $6.95)
