say if I renew 100 domains, some of the domains show one price while others show different prices. All the domains are .com domains. Why would they have different prices?

Do the more expensive .com domain renewals have privacy?
If so, then upon renewal it will automatically add privacy for the next year also (which costs extra)
That's the only reason I could think of to create any price difference.
If privacy isn't the issue, is there a correlation between the high/low prices and if the domain has hit it's first ever renewal? I actually had that happen with a coupon a long time ago, and I always found it to be odd. Same coupon. Lower price for the domains that were under 1 year old.
Godaddy has really convoluted renewals because they are just trying to milk as much money out of you as they can. They grew by being cheap, now they are making money on renewals and realize that a slight increase = a lot more profit.
